Meet the Doctors
Dr. Khanh Nguyen, DDS
Originally from Houston, Texas Dr. Nguyen completed a 6-year BA/DDS program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2005 and subsequently moved to Chicago to begin work. Starting in 2007, Dr. Nguyen and Chang opened the 1st 4 Precision Dental Care offices. Since then Dr. Nguyen had added more Precision Dental Care locations across Chicagoland. He now focuses his time training/onboarding new associates and monitoring operations to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain clinical quality. He is board certified and licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
Dr. Randy Chang, DDS
Dr. Randy Chang, DDS earned his Bachelor of Science (Biology) Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2001, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Upon graduation from Dental School, it was a natural transition for Dr. Chang to return home to begin his career in the Chicago area. He worked for two group dental practices gaining valuable experience before opening his first clinic in 2004. Dr. Chang now owns and operates eight dental clinics in the Chicago area. He consistently attends numerous continuing education courses which allows him to stay current with all of the advances in Dentistry. More importantly, Dr. Chang always tries to empathize with his patients and enjoys the fact that dentistry allows him an opportunity to help people. He is board certified and licensed to practice Dentistry in Illinois, California and Tennessee. Dr. Chang is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Steve Tharp, DDS
Dr. Steven Tharp grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana/Campaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular & Integrative Physiology. He attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry here in Chicago, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduating from dental school, Steven has practiced dentistry Chicago area. Steven enjoys working in all areas of general dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey and is a big Blackhawks fan.
Dr. Nader Abu-Seraj, DMD
Dr. Nader Abu-Seraj grew up in Southern California. He earned his bachelors degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside and later his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences. While at Western University of Health Sciences, he completed multiple oral surgery externships at Loma Linda University, University of Southern California County hospital, University of Illinois-Chicago, Carle Hospital, and Loyola University. In 2014, he relocated to Chicago and began his dental career.
Recently, Dr. Nader had the opportunity to travel abroad and volunteer on a medical mission providing dental services to refugees in Lebanon that are suffering from the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. In his spare time, Dr. Nader enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his wife and son.
Dr. Anna Rivera, DMD
Dr. Anna Rivera DMD was born in California and grew up in the Philippines. She earned her first dental degree in the Philippines and moved to the US to pursue her dream of becoming a U.S. licensed dentist. She graduated at the University of Illinois at Chicago as part of the advanced standing program for International Dentist in 2021. She has been the recipient of Luz Bondoc Award scholarship in recognition of excellent academic standing and for having the highest grade point average in her class. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves to travel and explore new places in her free time.
Dr. Sami Abdelrahim, DMD
Dr. Sami was born and raised in the south side of Chicago. He earned his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois – Chicago, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and with college honors. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University – Illinois, and has since committed himself to providing only the finest dental care. He likes to participate in many continuing education opportunities and prides himself on staying current with the latest research and trends. He is always striving to improve his delivery of dentistry to patients and welcomes the interaction with patients and their families. Dr. Sami believes that above all, the dentist-patient relationship is built upon trust. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Sami says that dentistry will always be his commitment to life, as it is a wonderful profession. In his free time, Dr. Sami enjoys travelling, biking, hiking, playing basketball, spending time with family and friends, and is a big fan of Chicago sports.
Dr. Tuan Cao, DDS
Dr. Cao, originally from New Orleans, LA, completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Cao is invested in his patients’ health and making their dental experience easy. He strives to make his patients feel comfortable during each visit and leave feeling confident showing off their healthy smile. His patients love the gentle, thorough, and informative care he provides them. In his spare time, Dr. Cao enjoys exploring cities, playing piano, coding, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Max Bouvagnet, DMD
Dr. Bouvagnet was born in France but grew up in the city of Chicago. After graduating with a BA in Neuroscience from Wesleyan University, he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Max strives to deliver judgement free and thoughtful care while educating patients on conditions affecting their oral and overall health. His goal is that all his patients have a healthy and confident smile. In his free time he enjoys music production, traveling, video games and trying new foods.
Dr. Xavier Ghani, DMD
Dr Ghani was born in Virginia but raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s in Biological sciences. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving training in overall comprehensive care. After graduation Dr Ghani went on to work in underserved communities in the local Wisconsin area for 2 years and has now come back to practice closer to home. Dr Ghani’s top priority while practicing is patient comfort and satisfaction. Outside of dentistry Dr Ghani enjoys house music, cooking, and all hiking opportunities whenever possible.
Dr. Yoonjin Chung, DMD
(N Pulaski Location and W Cermak Location)
Dr. Yoonjin Chung earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He received Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with Alpha Omega Award in Removable Prosthodontics. To help underserved communities, he had been involved in many volunteer services, including Give Kids A Smile, Ben-Massell Volunteer Dental Clinic, and VA hospitals.
Dr. Yoon practiced dentistry in San Antonio, Texas for four years where he was recognized by patients for his gentleness and kindness. This is because he puts great emphasis on patient comfort during all treatments. Completing the highest-quality dentistry without patient discomfort is his everyday goal. He enjoys attending Continuing Education courses in order to achieve this goal.
He moved to his dream city, Chicago, in 2020, where he enjoys running on the Riverwalk. He also likes traveling, working out, playing tennis, swimming, and many winter sports. Dr. Yoon is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Fathi Abdallah, DMD
Dr.Abdallah was born and raised in the south side of Chicago. After completing his bachelor’s degree in biology, he moved to Arizona where he continued his education and completed his master’s degree in biomedical sciences and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University, Glendale campus. After completion of his doctorate degree, Dr.Abdallah moved back to his home town and enjoys practicing in Chicago. Dr.Abdallah enjoys all aspects of dentistry and patient satisfaction is his utmost concern. He enjoys traveling abroad to volunteer on mission trips. Recently, he has traveled to Colombia and Honduras where he placed many implants in underserved patient communities. He completed a surgical certificate specializing in dental implants. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, and is a big Chicago sports fan.
Dr. Yousuf Sirajeldin, DMD
(W Cermak Location and S Pulaski Location)
Dr. Yousuf Sirajeldin was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science majoring in Health Science from Oakland University with a minor in Exercise Science. He then went on to the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating dental school Dr. Sirajeldin worked in Milwaukee, WI for over a year before moving to Chicago. He also has experience working as a physical therapist assistant in the years prior to returning to complete his undergraduate studies. Dr. Sirajeldin has spent many hours volunteering in underserved communities providing dental care as well as aiding in clean-up efforts, food distribution and urban gardening. Dr. Sirajeldin is passionate about providing quality care to all patients and treats everyone with empathy and compassion. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, gym time, and playing soccer and basketball.
Dr. Duc Le, DMD
Dr. Le earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Le returned home and practiced dentistry in Houston, Texas for a few years. His priority is patient comfort and creating a dental experience for patients free of anxiety and fear. He makes sure he interacts with patients, educates them and gets to know them personally. He believes in delivering high-quality dental work in a gentle way while patients have the best experience they possibly can.
In 2023, Dr. Le and his wife moved to Lombard when his wife got accepted to the Dental School in Midwestern University, Downers Grove. In his spare time, he likes traveling, working out, spending quality time with his wife and their two dogs
Dr. Krizia Pallarca DMD
Dr. Krizia Pallarca earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a Magna Cum Laude distinction from University of Illinois in Chicago. She then attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove to attain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Pallarca’s goal is to provide a comfortable experience to patients during their dental visit. To stay current and broaden her knowledge in dentistry, she takes multiple continuing education yearly. She also gives back to her community by volunteering at Chicago Dental Society Clinic at Wheaton, IL. When she visits her hometown in the Philippines, she reaches out to underserved communities by providing free dental treatment and services.
In her free time, Dr. Pallarca enjoys trying different restaurants, baking/cooking, and spending quality time with family, friends, and dogs.
Dr. Bara Abusharara, DMD
Dr. Bara Abusharara was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He earned his bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Downers grove, where he received training in Invisalign, lasers, and comprehensive dentistry. His dedication to dentistry allows him to provide high quality care to all patients, as he is a firm believer in patient-centered and preventative care. He is a member of the American Dental Association , Chicago Dental Society and the Chicago Muslim Dental Society. Dr. Bara understands the anxiety some people have towards dental care and works with patients to overcome that anxiety to receive the care that they need to live a healthy lifestyle. In his free time Dr. Bara enjoys watching Chicago sports and traveling with his wife.
Dr. Ahmad Zaidi, DMD
Dr. Ahmad Zaidi was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor’s in Health Science. He moved to Arizona to attend Midwestern University where he earned both his master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, receiving training in implant placement, laser dentistry, Invisalign treatment, digital dentistry, nitrous oxide sedation, and overall comprehensive care. After receiving his DMD degree he moved back to Chicago to begin his dental career. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Laser Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Zaidi prioritizes patient comfort and strives to make sure that his patients are informed and happy with their treatment, trying to provide the best dental care they deserve. Outside of the office, he is passionate about cooking, music, and unfortunately Chicago sports. He loves to explore the city and welcomes any recommendations on places to eat or sights to see.
Dr. Duyen Tran, DMD
Dr. Duyen Tran grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine training at Midwestern University and received the Award of Excellence in Patient Care. She is trained in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, endodontics, and comprehensive care.
Growing up, Dr. Tran always had a terrible and traumatic dental experience. Having been in the patient’s position, she personally understands the importance of meeting the right doctor who can properly diagnose, treat and educate patients in oral health and overall wellness. Dr. Tran is committed to making a difference in the community. Her goal is to deliver a positive dental experience with emphasis in comprehensive dental care, patient education and comfort. She is a dedicated practitioner who has committed to lifelong learning through evidence-based dentistry and continuing education courses to treat her patients with the latest knowledge and technology.
On her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys biking along the Lake Shore Drive, playing tennis, and exploring new places with her family.
Dr Nihad Ammar, DMD
Dr. Nihad Ammar was born and raised in Chicago where he graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UIC College of Dentistry. At UIC, Dr. Ammar was in the Honors Oral Surgery program where he obtained advanced training in simple and surgical procedures as well as pre-prosthetic surgery. . He is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Muslim Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Ammar enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and exploring Chicago.
Dr. Mitchell McShane, DMD
Dr. Mitchell McShane grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago where he attended St. Francis High School in Wheaton. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and received his DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. McShane worked alongside his father for one year following dental school learning various techniques in restorative, endodontic, and pediatric dentistry. He currently lives in the city of Chicago and enjoys playing golf and softball, watching all Chicago and University of Illinois sports, and spending time with friends downtown. He looks forward to working with the Precision Dental team and serving the West Lawn area.
Dr. Puja Chaudhari DMD
Born in New Jersey, raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee Dr. Puja Chaudhari completed her Bachelor’s in Biochemistry at the University of Tennessee. In 2017, she moved to Illinois and obtained her Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University, Downers Grove where she also earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Patient happiness through compassion and competent care is her priority. Outside dentistry she enjoys music, time with family and friends, exploring foods, yoga, tennis and traveling. She looks forward to working with the West Lawn community.
Dr. Hussien Ahmad, DMD
Dr Ahmad was born and raised in Bethlehem, Palestine. He has moved to the States in 2010 and has
started his dental education since then. Dr Ahmad has graduated from the University of Illinois at
Chicago (UIC) with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry. He then started his dental program at Midwestern
University- Downers Grove College of Dentistry in 2016, where he has been exposed to work with digital dentistry, Invisalign, Lasers and Implants. Dr Ahmad enjoys providing general dentistry to all age groups and is excited to meet all of the patient’s needs. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing soccer.
Dr. Margareta Cipo, DMD
(W Belmont Location and W Diversey Location)
Dr. Margareta Qirko was born and raised in Tirana, Albania. She earned her first dental degree in Krakow, Poland in 2003 and has worked since than as a general dentist in Poland, Albania and Germany. Dr. Qirko moved to the States in 2018 where she started the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentist at University of Illinois in Chicago and earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. She is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and has been nominated for OKU National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Margareta enjoys all areas of General Dentistry and is devoted to provide patients with the less stressful and best possible dental experience. She is a mother of two children and in the free time enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Dr. Chandler Tempest, DMD
Dr. Chandler Tempest grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago where he attended New Trier Township High School in Winnetka. He graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Biology and received his DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He currently lives in Evanston and enjoys spending time with his family, working out, watching all Chicago sports as well as Premier League Soccer, and spending time with friends. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and looks forward to working with the Precision Dental team and serving the West Belmont area.
